Upon your arrival at Leh Airport (IXL), our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Leh is situated at an altitude of 3,500 meters (11,500 feet), making it crucial to spend the entire first day resting. This acclimatization period helps your body adjust to the lower oxygen levels and prevents Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). In the late evening, if you are feeling completely fine, you may take a slow, short walk through the local Leh Market to stretch your legs. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
